Violin Recommendation & Review Produced by The UK Music Industries Association, the buying guide is designed to help the musical student understand the importance of playing music, learning an instrument and to be able to have the appropriate knowledge to purchase a quality instrument. The guide does not mention any brands and is, therefore, free from any “hard sell”. The guide deliberately covers a wide range of instrument types to hopefully cater for the majority of students. Violin Guide pages are 20 and 21 (see thumbnails) Our recommendation and review here |

Are left handed violins available? Yes but they are very rare because not only will the order of the strings be affected but also the internals of the instrument itself. It is usually recommended to learn right handed not least because in an orchestra the bowing action would conflict with other players. |
